| SFP+ Release Mechanism |
| The Finisar SFP+ release mechanism is a three-piece solution made of a bail, a slide, and two pins. The bail of the Finisar SFP+ release mechanism has a latch. When the bail is rotated 90 degrees, instead of pushing against the tongue, the latch goes down into the metal enclosure to remove the module from the cage. |
